Established in * by a collective of foster
carers and social workers with the shared aim of achieving a
progressive, robust and equitable foster care system, the Irish Foster
Care Association has evolved to be a cornerstone in the foster care
ecosystem in Ireland. IFCA’s strength and effectiveness is couched
in the ethos of the power of collective endeavour of the diverse
members of the foster care community.
OBJECTIVES OF TENDER
CONTEXT
Now in its *rd year as a member led
organisation, we are committed to inclusivity and achieving a shared
understanding of our organisational role, purpose and strategic
direction for our team, members, funders and stakeholders.
The objective of the strategic plan is to ensure IFCA’s vision,
mission and key strategic goals align with current needs, emerging
trends and new developments within the foster care community in
Ireland. It should also ensure the organisation has the capacity to
meet these needs. The new strategic plan should reflect the current
and predicted future environment within which IFCA will work.
The external consultant is sought to work closely with the IFCA Board
and staff to design and a consultation process, analyse findings, and
produce IFCA’s Strategic Plan * to **Apply on
